Gandhinagar

 Gandhinagar is the capital city of the state of Gujarat in India. It is located on the western bank of the Sabarmati River, about 23 kilometers north of Ahmedabad, the largest city in Gujarat. Gandhinagar was established in 1960 as a planned city to serve as the new capital of Gujarat after the state was separated from the Bombay State. The city is named after Mahatma Gandhi, the leader of the Indian independence movement. Gandhinagar is known for its well-planned infrastructure, wide roads, and green spaces. It is also home to various government offices, educational institutions, and research centers. The city is famous for its Akshardham Temple, which is a major tourist attraction.
